FIRST 3D PRINTED BUILDING TO LAUNCH AT DUBAI

The oil-rich Emirates state of Dubai is now all set to hit the headlines for launching yet another ‘first in the world’. Only weeks left to launch world’s first 3D printed single storied ‘Office of Future’ at Dubai. The office is set to be printed in layers and the giant printer undertaking the herculean task stands at 20 feet tall. The layers are to be assembled on site and in total the office building will sprawl across 2,0000 square feet.


This extraordinary project is the outcome of the partnership between WinSun Global and Dubai. WinSun has already made the headlines by making 10 small houses in one day using a 3D printer.
The office is set to be the house of staff of Museum of Future. Future and will feature an open plan that is flexible so as to be able to accommodate different sized teams and be used for many uses. Once the one-storied building is finished, all the furniture and interior fixtures will be built by using 3D Printers.


The UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs along with the Chairman of UAE National Innovation Committee said that the building was a testimony to the creativity and the efficiency of technology in 3D printing. He believes that it will play a big role in changing design sectors and reshaping construction. This is said to be just the first step and many more will arrive.
